BATHROOM RENOVATION SERVICES IN MURRUMBEENA

Every bathroom job is a sequence of trades. Some homes need the whole board, from strip-out to handover. Others need one trade done properly, such as a leaking shower fixed or a vanity fitted. The services below are grouped by the stage of work they belong to, so you can find the right starting point for your home in Murrumbeena or a nearby suburb.

MATCH THE JOB TO THE TRADE

Five quick questions narrow down the service you need.

  • Is the whole room coming out? Start with a full, ensuite or small bathroom renovation.
  • Is water getting past tiles or grout? Look at leaking shower repairs and waterproofing first.
  • Is the layout changing? Moving a shower, toilet or basin starts with bathroom design.
  • Is storage the real problem? A new vanity or custom cabinetry may solve it.
  • Do you have photos of the room as it is? They make the first conversation far more useful.

These four services cover the full running order: demolition, plumbing and electrical, waterproofing, tiling, fixtures and finishing. The difference is the room and the brief, whether that’s a busy family bathroom, a private ensuite, a tight footprint or a high-end finish.

PLANNING AND WET-AREA TRADES

Design settles the layout and materials before anything is priced. Tiling and waterproofing are the wet-area trades that decide whether a bathroom stays sound, and leaking shower repairs deal with the damage when that hidden layer has failed.

SERVICES FAQ

Only my shower is a problem. Which service do I need?

If water is escaping through grout, tiles or the shower base, start with Leaking Shower Repairs. If the shower works but looks dated, Shower Renovations is the better fit. If you want to remove the hob or door entirely, look at Walk-In Showers.

Is bathroom design separate from the renovation?

Design is the third stage of the renovation process and comes before the quote. Settling the layout and materials early gives you a quote based on what will actually be built. Read more on Bathroom Design.

Why is waterproofing listed as its own service?

Once it’s tiled over, waterproofing can’t be seen, yet it decides whether a wet area stays sound. Giving it its own stage keeps the focus on getting it right before tiling begins.

Do you renovate laundries as well as bathrooms?

Yes. Laundry Renovations use the same wet-area trades as a bathroom, including plumbing, waterproofing and tiling, along with benches and storage.
